Standard Production Defect Rate Policy

At Lancaster Print House, we take pride in producing high-quality decorated apparel. However, screen printing is a handcrafted manufacturing process, and occasional print or garment defects are an expected part of production. To ensure every order meets our clients' expectations on delivered quantities, please read our defect rate policy below.

STANDARD DEFECT ALLOWANCE
The following defect allowances apply to all standard production orders:

• 3% of the total order quantity or 3 pieces (whichever is greater).

• Orders of 100 pieces or fewer: Up to 1 piece per size and garment style/color may fall within the standard defect allowance.

• Orders of 101–500 pieces: Up to 2 pieces per size and garment style/color may fall within the standard defect allowance.

• Orders of 501–1,000 pieces: Up to 3 pieces per size and garment style/color may fall within the standard defect allowance.

These allowances reflect normal production variances and are considered acceptable within the quoted price.

REPLACEMENTS AND CREDITS
Replacement of defective garments that fall within the standard defect allowance is at the sole discretion of Lancaster Print House. Defective garments that are not replaced will be credited or refunded upon completion of the project.

EXACT QUANTITY ORDERS
If your project requires an exact quantity with no production overage or shortage, please decline this quote and notify us before placing your order. Exact quantity jobs require additional planning, production procedures, and risk management, and are quoted separately.
